Help girls graduate from secondary school despite setbacks from COVID-19.
In secondary schools around the world, the Class of 2020 was set to graduate this spring. When the coronavirus pandemic struck, these plans became uncertain. Unlike students in the United States, many students worldwide do not have the home internet access necessary to transition to online school, and by missing the secondary school exams they must pass in order to graduate and move on to college, they are now facing the potential of having to complete another full year of school once their countries reopen.
An extra year of school means another year of school fees, which many families will struggle to pay after losing jobs and critical income during this health crisis. When funds become an issue, girls are often left home from school as families prioritize the education of boys. You can make a difference for these girls.
On top of school attendance, many girls will require the extra support of tutors and exam workshops in order to pass their exams. Greater Good Charities' partners work directly with students to ensure they receive the support they need to return to school, pass their exams, and achieve their dreams of attending college.
These girls are so close to the finish line already. YOUR support can help them cross it.
