All over the world, animals are loved as dear friends, enjoyed by wildlife enthusiasts and worked to help families maintain crops and carry loads. Simultaneously, animals face worldwide struggles due to pet over—population, disease transmission, the poaching crisis and endangered species survival as well as environmental disasters and every day human conflicts. GreaterGood.org is teaming up the Project V.E.T.S (PV) that focuses on helping veterinarians perform hand—work with companion animals, wildlife and working animals in efforts to help address these challenges.
Approved organizations in need receive supplies and equipment that allow them to provide critical services to the animals in their care. Equipment and instruments for surgical and dental procedures, clippers and sheering instruments, goods to maintain cleanliness and prevent infection, and technology that helps maintain accurate records are examples of the materials distributed by PV. The valuable supplies and equipment that have been donated to PV are meaningless unless PV gets them where they are needed most. Boxes, brimming with these items, are shipped by PV to animal welfare organizations all over the world and provide them with resources they may not otherwise be able to obtain and that will assist in making critical diagnoses, performing surgies and providing the basic items used in the veterinary care of animals.
The desired outcome of this project guarantees that existing and new recipient groups will continue to receive critically needed veterinary equipment and supplies that will assist in the treatment of thousands and thousands of animals.
Your gift will provide critical veterinary supplies and equipment to help improve and save the lives of wildlife (free roaming and captive), companion animals and working animals around the world.
Project V.E.T.S. is a 501(c)3 organizations whose mission is to 'Heal the planet one animal at a time. They heal the planet by keeping valuable veterinary and medical items from being wastefully discarded.
