The biggest cat in the Americas is nearing extinction in its northernmost habitat. Famous for their speed and stealth, Jaguars are facing threats from deforestation and human conflict almost everywhere they call home. Jaguars now occupy just 46% of their historic range, and are already gone from their former habitat in the southwest United States. Now, Jaguars are facing extinction in the arid deserts of northern Mexico, as well as parts of Brazil, Argentina, and Uruguay.
We must do what we can to save jaguars across their range. Project Peril is committed to restoring habitat for jaguars and addressing the human-jaguar conflict. Project Wildcat, a Signature Program of GreaterGood.org, works with ranchers in Sonora, Mexico to protect critical habitat where Jaguars can roam free.
Your help is needed URGENTLY! Your donation will go to Project Peril, a program of GreaterGood.org to help save the Jaguar.
About Project Peril:
Project Peril is a new program of GreaterGood.org to protect the world's most threatened species. Whether tall like a giraffe or small like a bee, all life deserves a fighting chance in a world increasingly threatened by human influences.
