Wola Nani uses beautiful, simple papier-mache techniques to produce bowls, trays, gifts, and jewelry. The project recruits unemployed women living with HIV and AIDS from their support groups, run in the townships around Cape Town and from local HIV clinics. Women are selected for the income generation project based on regular attendance at HIV support groups, having none or very little financial income in the family, and a desire to produce crafts to better their lives and the lives of their families.
