Help give impoverished children access to music and arts education!
Studies have shown that musical instruction improves academic performance, social skills, and increased self-esteem. Learning music fosters joy and inspiration—which are critical benefits to all children. Sadly, for impoverished children who have limited access to food, clean water and education, access to quality music education is rare or non-existent.
The Playing For Change (PFC) Foundation creates positive change through music education. The Foundation establishes and supports music schools and programs in areas that are rich in cultural traditions but limited in economic resources. Programs are free to children and provide instruction in vocals, dance, instruments, musical theory and cultural traditions. Projects also meet basic local needs including the provision of clean water, food, medicine, clothes, books, and school supplies, with over 15,000 greater community members benefiting through these development efforts.
You can help. Just $5 buys a new flute for a child who needs it most.
The mission of Playing For Change Foundation is to create positive change through music and arts education.
