Provide emergency medical care for pets in need like Anne!
Anne had an abnormality in her hip that was causing her to limp. Her back hip was partially dislocated and her hip and the head of her femur didn't fit together correctly. This limited her movement and would likely lead to chronic pain if untreated.
In order to walk easily and free from pain, Anne needed femoral head ostectomy surgery to repair her hip. Then she would need weeks of rest and rehabilitation to regain her full range of motion.
Despite her condition, Anne was sweet and vibrant, and despite the pain in her hip, she remained strong. But the operation needed for her hip was just out of reach of the shelter caring for her. The rescue reached out to Greater Good Charities, and thanks to the generosity of donors like you, we were able to fully fund Anne's treatment with our Emergency Animal Care Fund, so she could have a second chance and be adopted into the loving home she deserves.
Unfortunately, Anne's sad story is not uncommon. Shelters and rescues across the country deal daily with animals who need emergency surgeries, treatments, or other urgent care. With your help, we can ensure that more animals who are suffering receive the treatment they need.
100% of your donation will go to Greater Good Charities' Emergency Animal Care Fund and be used to save lives like Anne's.
