Maison Dorcas Boilerplate — DO NOT DELETE
Maison Dorcas is a development project created in 1995 to provide employment and training in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire. For most of the artisans, this is their first job. They learn to be disciplined and reliable at their work, and realize that they are capable and highly skilled. The women learn sewing, crafts, and small business management skills. They are encouraged to manage their part of the production process, and to come up with ideas for new products and for improving current products. Some of their products include home décor, bags and stuffed animals.
