By shopping the Global Girlfriend collection, you are making a difference in women’s lives across the globe. Global Girlfriend is focused on striving for gender equality and empowerment, and the importance of women providing for themselves and their families. By supporting jobs that guarantee fair wages by fair trade, women are able to proudly contribute to their families, encouraging their communities to flourish.
In 1989, Jossy Eyre founded the Women's Bean Project in Denver, Colorado.
Through her volunteer work at a day shelter for homeless women, Eyre saw that while the shelter kept women safe, it could not help them make lasting changes in their lives. The organization aims to teach workplace competencies through employment in on-site businesses to women who come from backgrounds of chronic unemployment or poverty.
It helps women discover their talents and develop skills by offering job readiness training. With this stepping-stone toward success, the women will be able to support themselves, their families, and create stronger role models for future generations. Currently, Women's Bean Project products are sold in nearly 1,000 stores nationwide.
My husband loved these and they're healthier. Also love that it feeds rescue animals. We have two rescue cats ourselves! Thanks!
These cookies were amazing. And so easy to mix up. I like that they have minimal ingredients and will be reordering.
I love Oatmeal Raisin and then and chocolate! What's not to love! My only regret is not getting 2 packs because 1 is not enough.
