Give hundreds of dogs in Thailand a caring home during the global health crisis.
Double YOUR impact! A couple of generous animal lovers from Ashland, Oregon, are matching your gift dollar for dollar up to $25,000!
As the coronavirus pandemic restricts travel and access to resources around the world, the Soi Dog Foundation in Phuket, Thailand, finds itself in urgent need of help. Adopted dogs aren't able to leave the shelter for their forever homes, and more and more desperate dogs and cats arrive each day.
Already operating at capacity with over 700 dogs on any given day, Soi Dog now anticipates the need to house yet 200 more, facing severe overcrowding and running out of space.
There is an urgent need to construct new dog enclosures and kennels, but the shelter must also continue to provide medical treatment, food, and care for all its dogs, including the influx of new arrivals.
Additionally, beyond the shelter walls, the organization plays a major role in the community. Shelter staff have taken on the responsibility of feeding street dogs who until now could live off the kind hands of tourists and restaurant owners.
That’s why GreaterGood.org is stepping in to help the Soi Dog Foundation remain a lifeline for thousands of street animals. Your gift will help repurpose an area of the shelter to accommodate new dogs, build new kennels in current enclosures, and provide food and care to each and every animal.
You can help hundreds of dogs in Thailand stay happy and healthy until they can fly to their forever homes. Give today.
