Vetality™ Avantect II contains imidacloprid, permethrin and pyriproxyfen -- the active ingredients found in K9 Advantix II® for dogs. Vetality™ Avantect II is vet quality protection but costs less than the national brand.

These broad spectrum topicals not only kill but repel fleas, flea eggs, ticks & mosquitoes. Avantect II also kills ALL stages of fleas, repels biting flies and kills lice. Available in four convenient weight breaks and a four-month supply for continued protection.

Restrictions: Do not use on cats. Do not allow your dog to ingest this product. Do not get this product in your dog's eyes. Do not use on dogs under seven weeks of age or weighing less than indicated minimum weight. Do not apply more than 1 tube per treatment per dog.


How To Apply: The dog should be standing for the application. Remove tube from the package. Hold tube in a vertical upright position. Cut off top of the tube scissors. Part the hair at each spot until the skin in visible. Invert tube and place the open end of the tube on the skin of the dog. Squeeze tube to expel the entire content of liquid and apply the product evenly along the dog's back in 3 to 4 spots from the base of the skull to the base of the tail. Take care that liquid does not run off the dog. Avoid contact with treated area until dry. Discard empty tube as described in Storage and Disposal. In case of severe pest infestations, you are able to treat your dog earlier than (4) four weeks. If infestation is severe at the initiation of treatment, once a week treatment is permitted not to exceed 4 weeks. After pest control has been successful, please return to a monthly retreatment schedule.

Works great!

I usually use the name brand one but starting using this brand on my 3dogs and it is just as good but cost less. Has the same ingredients also.

We tried the Avantect for dogs three years ago. We were looking for a more reasonably priced flea and tick product. We had used the two big names in the past but the prices got so high that it was ridiculous. The Avantect was substantially lower in price so we decided to give it a try. We were thrilled to learn that it works every bit as well as the big name products. It works so well that we have continued to use it on our dog and our cats. When I saw it advertised on the Animal Rescue Site, I decided to purchase it there so we could help animals. I'm so glad that I saw it. We use the Avantect for 6 months of the year as we live in northern Indiana. We've had great success with it. It works very well to combat fleas and ticks. It works every bit as well as the higher-priced products.
