Coco needs your help to beat disease and get well!
Coco came to a shelter as a puppy found on the streets of Obregon, Sonora, Mexico. She had respiratory problems and received treatment, but after just two months of life as a happy puppy, she began to show Parvo symptoms. Coco tested positive for the disease.
It became a struggle between life and death, as Coco's fever rose to 105 degrees and she was rushed to an emergency hospital. Thanks to IV fluids, antibiotics, and anti-inflammatories, Coco stabilized and was sent home, but the vet called to say the pup had tested positive for Ehrlichia, a bacteria from ticks.
Coco must receive treatment at the shelter for a month, and because of the complications with her health, an adopter who had agreed to take her backed out. But Coco is a warrior, and her caretakers are certain there's a forever home out there for her.
You can help Coco beat disease and regain her full health and happiness! She's a true fighter and never stops wanting to be around people, cuddle, and nap. Your gift will go directly toward her medicine and treatment.
Help us meet our goal of $2,005 to cover Coco's medical costs and healing so she can finally find the perfect family! Funds raised over this goal will help provide medical care to other shelter pets in need.
